Headquartered in Roseville, CA, we are a full-service commercial mechanical contractor committed to delivering excellence across every phase of construction. Our 35,000 square-foot facility supports in-house Sheet Metal, Plumbing, and Piping fabrication, and serves as home to our centralized estimating department, registered professional engineers, construction managers, VDC specialists, support staff, and dedicated service and building automation teams. Through The Years

1995

In 1995, Rick expanded the business by bringing on a partner to help support growth by developing key operational functions, including centralized estimating, project management, purchasing, and field operations. Julie Chowdry assumed responsibility for overseeing administrative operations. This growth led to a relocation from Rick's Garage to a new 1,250 sq. ft. facility in North Highlands.

1996

Secured notable projects such as the Federal Building on Cottage Way in Sacramento, CA, prompting the expansion of Intech’s workforce to fifteen field personnel.

1998

Outgrowing the North Highlands facility, Intech invests in a new headquarters located in Roseville, CA to support continued growth.

2000

Continued business expansion leads to the addition of Mike Friesen as Senior Project Manager. Field operations grow to forty plumbers and pipefitters, positioning Intech Mechanical as an emerging industry leader.

2002

Intech Mechanical launches a new division dedicated to Full-Service HVAC solutions.

2003

Strategic labor partnerships are formed through agreements with the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union and the Sheet Metal Workers Union.

2007

A dedicated HVAC Service and Maintenance department is established, enhancing post-construction support capabilities.

2010

Gary Myers joins Intech. Gary focuses on growing the HVAC side of the business, as well as leads Business Development efforts and growing relationships & project partnering opportunities.

2015

Intech Mechanical acquires a new 35,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters in Roseville, CA, featuring extensive fabrication space for welding and ductwork, as well as investing in management.

2016

The company expands its offerings with the formation of a full-service Building Automation and Controls division.

2021

Pansy Romo returns to Intech and joins the ownership group as part of future business continuation. She focuses on Culture, Operational excellence, and growing Intech's Design-Build footprint in the region.

2025

Intech Mechanical broadens its geographic footprint by opening an office in the Reno, Nevada market specifically focused on Service & Maintenance.
